Visa card - Around the clock access

Trusted Novus Bank (TNB) has launched new cards to all clients. As part of our ongoing journey to provide a better digital service, our new Visa cards have improved functionality including the launch of a new web portal which will allow clients to check their available spending limit on each of their cards, view live transactions, generate transactional statements and control their card(s). A Mobile App will soon be provided. 

Our new vertical design allows all your data to be located on the back of your Visa card, giving your card a new out of the ordinary look, and making it easier and more convenient to access the card information.

We are currently in the process of finalising our new mobile app and we expect it to be ready in the very near future. In the meantime please use our web portal (and mobile friendly) version of the app. Please see the above for guidance on how to set-up and activate your new card.

If you are scrolling on a PC or laptop, please select the “+” on the card you have been assigned, if you are on a mobile device you won’t have to click on the “+” as the information will already be visible.

Personal Clients

Visa Debit

  • Fees: No annual fee

  • ATM fee: 1.5% of transaction value (min £2.50) excluding TNB or Trusted Novus Bank branch ATM’s

  • Spending limits: Your monthly limit will now reset daily instead of monthly

  • Note: If the available funds on your account is lower than your daily spending limit, it will be adjusted accordingly

The Trusted Novus Bank Card Portal

Once you receive your card you will have the web portal at your disposal. With the use of this new tools, you will be able to manage your cards and financial transactions remotely.

The transactions visible on the web portal will represent all your Visa card transactions, such as purchases in a store, ATM withdrawals, online purchases etc. You will still need to manage your other banking transactions via Netbank.

The web portal can be accessed from both a smart device and a PC. 

Here are some of the benefits you will soon enjoy:

Manage all your cards on one device

Using our new web portal, you will now have one log-in to manage all your cards simultaneously.

If you own both personal and corporate cards then you will have two separate log-ins.

View your card transactions in near real time

All your Visa Card transactions will be visible instantly in near real time, making it easier to manage your spending.

Block your Visa card and report it as lost or stolen

If your card is lost or stolen, please ensure that you block your card using your app/web portal. You can then contact the Cards Help Desk directly so that they may issue you with a new Visa card or call the 24/7 Visa Customer service number.

Control your ATM usage

By using our new platforms, you can choose to block or unblock ATM usage on your card

E-commerce

You now have the ability to control your online shopping. If you do  not wish to use your card for online purchases you can turn this functionality off to increase the security around your card. If you would like to make an online purchase, the functionality can be easily activated on the app by the touch of a button

Disable contactless

In the same way you can manage e-commerce you can also control the functionality of the contactless feature of your card, this can be switched on or off with the touch of a button


Adding the web portal to your home screen

Please note this process may have slight variations depending on the browser you are using.

iPhone

Step 1

Launch your web browser and open the web portal and select the icon highlighted in the image.

Step 2

Scroll down and select the tab ‘Add to Home Screen’.

Step 3

Click ‘Add’ on the top right corner to add a shortcut to your home screen.

Congratulations!

You should now be able to access the web portal directly through your home screen. This will be accessible through an icon as shown in the image.


Android

Step 1

Launch your web browser and open the web portal, then tap the menu icon (normally 3 lines or dots in the corner of your screen).

Step 2

Tap 'Add page to' or 'Add to homescreen'.

Step 3

Select 'Add'.

Congratulations!

You should now be able to access the web portal directly through your home screen. This will be accessible through an icon as show in the image.
