Trusted Novus Bank (TNB) is launching new cards to all clients. As part of our ongoing journey to provide a better digital service, our new Visa cards have improved functionality including a mobile app and web portal.

Discover more below on our different card products, helping you to get the most out of your new TNB Visa card.

Here you can find all the relevant information regarding the functionality and fees relating to our newly launched Visa cards.

If you are scrolling on a desktop, please select the “+” on the card you have been assigned. If you’re on a mobile device you won’t have to as the information will already be visible

Visa Debit Card (Consumer)

  • Fees: No annual fee

  • ATM fee: 1.5% of transaction value (min £2.50) excluding Trusted Novus Bank branch ATM’s

  • Spending limits: Your monthly limit will now reset daily instead of monthly

  • Note: If the available funds on your account is lower than your daily spending limit, it will be adjusted accordingly

  • No minimum balance block will be placed on the account

    • Fees: No annual fee

    • ATM fee: 1.5% of transaction value (min £2.50) excluding Trusted Novus Bank branch ATM’s

    • Spending limits: Your monthly limit will now reset daily instead of monthly

    • Note: If the available funds on your account is lower than your daily spending limit, it will be adjusted accordingly

    • No minimum balance block will be placed on the account


Visa Business Debit

  • Fees: No annual fee

  • Spending limit: Monthly spending limit that will reset on the 1st of every month

  • Note: Visa statement will be produced on the 20th of every month

The Trusted Novus Bank Card App

Once you receive your card you will have the mobile app and web portal at your disposal. With the use of these new tools, you can now manage your cards and financial transactions remotely.

The transactions visible on the app represent all your Visa card transactions, such as purchases in a store, ATM withdrawals, online purchases etc. Your other banking needs are still managed via Netbank.

Manage all your cards on one device

Using your new mobile app or web portal. You will now have one log-in and manage all your cards simultaneously on your sole account.

View you card transaction in near real time

All your Visa Card transactions can be viewed instantly in near real time, making it easier to manage your spending.

Control your ATM usage

By using our new platforms, you can choose to block or unblock ATM usage on your card.

Block your Visa card

If your card has been lost or stolen, please ensure that you block your card using your app/web portal. You, can then contact the Cards Help Desk directly so that they may issue you with a new Visa card or call the 24/7 Visa Customer service number.

E-Commerce

You now have the ability to control your online shopping. If you do not use your card for online purchases you can turn this functionality off to increase the security around your card. If you would like to make an online purchase, the functionality can be easily activated on the app by the touch of a button.


Important to know about the app

The transactions visible on the app represent all your Visa card transactions, such as purchases in a store, ATM withdrawals, online purchases etc. Your other banking needs are still managed via Netbank.  

Step by step guide to set up an account on the mobile app

Step 1

Download the Trusted Novus Bank Cards app, on the from App Store or Google Play. Once ready, open the app and select ‘Create an Account’.

Step 2

Please input your invitation code which you should have received via email. If you do not have a code, please select ‘I don’t have my invitation code’ and the Cards Help Desk will contact you.

Step 3

Once you have inputted your invitation code, please take the time to read the ‘Terms of services & Privacy Policy.’ If you are happy to agree, please tick the box and then proceed to select ‘NEXT’.

Step 4

Please insert your username. You should have received this via email. If you do not have your username, please contact the Cards Help Desk.

Step 5

Please follow the instructions and create a password for your account.

Your password must consist of the following:

  • At least 8 characters long
  • Contain uppercase letter
  • Contain numbers
  • Contain special characters 
Step 6

You can now create a digit passcode which can be used to access your mobile app.

Step 7

You may also use biometrics to access the mobile app. This can be done through either facial ID or through a finger print. This is dependant on your smart device.

Step 8

Once you have configured your biometrics you have successfully completed all the steps.

Congratulations, you have now set-up your mobile app!


Activate your Card

Step 1

Select ‘Cards’ from the dashboard below. Then select ‘activate’ to begin the process.

Step 2

Please input the last 4 digits of the number on your card.

Step 3

If you have inputted the numbers correctly, the app will process and accept your request

Step 4

Congratulations your card is now activated, you can now use your Visa card!
