We are pleased to inform you that NetBank is now available. Due to an increase in fraudulent scam activities within Gibraltar we have increased some behind the scenes security measures. Due to this you may require support when making larger payments and should you need assistance, please contact your Relationship Manager or the Bank on +350 2000 3000.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused during NetBank’s downtime today, but you and your accounts security remain our highest priority.
Due to the increased fraudulent attempts, we would like to remind you that:
Fraudsters may:
- Attempt to obtain your online banking credentials (e.g. via links or during a call)
- Contact you and claim there is a security issue on your account
- Ask you to approve login or payment requests, claiming these are for verification or to cancel transactions
Trusted Novus Bank will NEVER:
- Ask you to share your online banking credentials
- Ask you to approve a login request you did not initiate
- Ask you to approve a payment to cancel or reverse a transaction
How this works
In these situations, customers may be guided step-by-step by fraudsters while on a call and asked to approve requests. These requests may appear legitimate but are intended to gain access and execute transactions.
What you should do
If you receive such a request:
- Do NOT click on any suspicious links
- Do NOT share your login details
- Do NOT approve any login or payment you did not initiate
- End the call immediately and contact the Bank using official channels
If you have any concerns or notice any unusual activity, please contact us immediately.
