As a Financial Assistant, you will provide essential financial and administrative support to ensure the smooth running of our finance function. Working closely with the Management Accountant and Finance Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing invoices and staff expense payments in line with policy.
  • Processing of month end accounting adjustments.
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation.
  • Supporting month-end activities and statutory audits.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate data entry to enable reliable reporting.

What we're looking for

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft applications.
  • Ability to follow structured processes and work methodically.
  • Clear and confident communication skills.
  • A proactive, team-oriented approach with the ability to work independently when required.
  • Previous experience in a similar role and an accounting qualification such as AAT are desirable but not essential.
