About the Role
The Integration Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining integration solutions between Temenos Transact and various internal and external systems such as Bloomberg (market data & securities), Panovate (card management), Bottomline (payments), digital banking frontends, regulatory interfaces, and internal applications. This role ensures secure, reliable, scalable data exchange across the bank’s ecosystem, supporting core-banking operations, digital channels, payment processing, treasury, compliance, and customer experience initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Integration Design & Development
• Design and implement integration services using Temenos Integration Frameworks, including:
- IRIS, TCIB/Infinity APIs, Transact OFS, T24 Web Services, TAFJ/Java services o Message queues (MQ/Kafka), REST/SOAP APIs, file-based integrations.
• Build and maintain integrations with:
- Bloomberg – market data, corporate actions, price feeds, securities reference data. o Panovate – debit/credit card authorization, settlement, transaction posting.
- Bottomline – domestic and international payment gateways (SEPA, SWIFT, Faster Payments).
- Other systems: CRM, AML/KYC, reporting engines, data warehouse, document management.
• Develop robust exception-handling, logging, monitoring, and retry mechanisms.
Technical Analysis & Solutioning
• Work with BAs, product owners, and vendors to understand functional requirements.
• Translate business requirements into clear technical integration specifications.
• Participate in architecture design and review to ensure alignment with TNB’s target architecture.
• Evaluate feasibility and performance of integration patterns (API-led, ESB, event-driven).
Testing & Quality Assurance
• Build unit and integration test cases for all interfaces.
• Support SIT/UAT cycles and troubleshoot integration defects.
• Ensure compliance with security, data integrity, and regulatory requirements.
Operations & Support
• Provide Level 3 support for integration incidents and production issues.
• Monitor integration jobs, queues, and API gateway performance.
• Maintain documentation: API specs, sequence diagrams, mapping documents, troubleshooting guides.
• Support release management and CI/CD pipelines.
Collaboration & Governance
• Work closely with:
- Core banking (Transact) team o Payment operations team
- Digital banking and mobile/web teams
- External vendors (Temenos, Panovate, Bottomline, Bloomberg)
• Ensure solutions comply with TNB’s security, audit, and governance frameworks.
Required Skills & Experience
Technical Skills
• Hands-on experience with Temenos Transact/T24 integrations: o OFS, IRIS, TAFJ, JBase, Web Services, Integration Framework, TAFC/TAFJ Java.
• Strong understanding of banking domains:
- Payments (SEPA, SWIFT, FPS), cards, treasury, securities, customer onboarding.
• Experience with:
- REST / SOAP API design & development
- Message queues (MQ/Kafka/RabbitMQ)
- ETL/data mapping o Microservices (Java/Spring Boot preferred)
• Strong SQL skills and familiarity with Transact data structures.
• Experience integrating with financial systems:
- Bloomberg APIs (BPIPE, SFTP, reference data feeds)
- Card systems (Panovate, Thales, TSYS, or similar)
- Payment hubs (Bottomline or equivalent)
• Familiar with CI/CD tools (GitLab/Jenkins), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus.

• Ownership mindset and ability to support mission-critical banking systems
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• 3–7+ years of integration development experience in banking or financial services.
• Temenos certification (TAFJ, Integration Framework) is an advantage.
• Experience in regulated financial environments preferred.
