Daily limits
All Visa Debit Card holders will have a daily spending limit as agreed during application process.
Account balances will be checked daily and, should the balance be equal to or above the limit then the spending limit will be reset to the initial amount, provided all ‘pending transactions’ have been debited to your Trusted Novus Bank account. However, should the balance of the account be lower than the spending limit, the spending limit will be adjusted to the balance of the account.
Pending transactions are authorised card payments made with your debit card, which have not yet been settled against your Debiting Account. These are normally settled within 2-3 working days, however, some merchants may take longer. Joint accounts are available, however, both cards will utilise the same spending limit and transactions across both cards will be visible to both cardholders in the Card web/App portal.
