Emma Rawsthorne

Emma, Mortgage Adviser, supports customers on their mortgage journey, whether it's just a friendly fact finding discussion or they are ready to apply for their mortgage. "Day-to-day we may be assessing affordability, updating applications, assessing documents, speaking to third parties etc…It’s a role that requires spinning a lot of plates at the same time."

How does your role make a difference to our clients? 

It helps reassure our clients that we are there to help and support them in one of, if not the biggest financial commitments they may ever have.

This favourite part of my job, is that each customer and application is different, so we always face new daily challenges. 

  

"I started in a banking hall over 8 years ago, and I then became a Personal Banker. During COVID I continued my career deciding to specialise in mortgage services. After completing my mortgage exams I became a qualified mortgage adviser."

"Outside of work, I absolutely love holidays. Holidays, holidays, and holidays—there's nothing better! They give me the chance to relax, unwind, and explore new places. Fun fact about myself: even though I'm scared of heights, I've done the second highest bungee jump in the world."
