Phishing Attack

20 January 2022

Early this week Trusted Novus Bank was subject to a phishing attack and as a precautionary measure we have temporarily deactivated our online banking system, NetBank. Quick intervention and existing security measures are paramount to protect the bank, clients and stakeholders. As top priority we are investigating this attack, and assure you that we are working towards reinstating NetBank as soon as possible.

For any Banking transactions which would have normally been executed via Netbank, we request that our clients contact their Relationship Manager who would gladly help with any requirements.

We would like to extend our apologies to all our clients for the inconvenience this may have caused. During our continued investigation, we ensure that we will keep our clients and stakeholders updated with any further information.

WARNING

Have you recently received a text message which may look like it’s from Trusted Novus Bank?

If the answer is yes, please DO NOT click on the link – this is a scam!

Trusted Novus Bank would never ask you to verify your details (PIN or password) via the phone, email or text message. We would always ask clients to login to NetBank via our Trusted Novus Bank website.
