Bjarne Low

Bjarne, Senior Corporate Relationship Manager, is a curious individual in both his work and private life. He enjoys outdoor sports including running, cycling, skiing and hiking and has recently completed his Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme at the Edinburgh Business School.

I’m from Denmark. I came to the bank 7 years ago on a 3-year contract and I’m still here!

I work as relationship manager in our corporate team and enjoy developing long term relationships with the clients. For this, I find it important to be and take active part in the local community.

As our clients service themselves and need for physical presence is less, I think we must adapt and develop new services that can retain and attract clients. I clearly see a need for developing products and incentives to support the inevitable green transition. I also see a potential to add value to the relationship by providing advice and challenge our clients on a wider scale in the form of for example risk management and strategy development.

In addition to my client facing role, I’m involved in the bank’s journey towards being a leading corporate citizen in respect of ESG. Here my preference is on the environmental side where we all can do a little better.

Gibraltar and Spain are one big playground for me.

I enjoy running, cycling, skiing and hiking in the area or take a break in Tarifa with my family. I also have a great passion for photography and music, and I have brought my relatively large collection of vinyl’s all the way from Denmark.

My next planned outdoor event is to climb Jebel Musa on the other side of the Strait and my dream is still to do Kilimanjaro one day.
