Tracy Lee

Tracy Lee, Business Developer, hasn't been in the bank for very long but has a lot to offer from her vast experience in banking as well as being a successful entrepreneur. Her dedication to anything she sets her sights on is evident in all aspects of her life from becoming a wine sommelier, completing a BSc Hons in Genetics to climbing Kilimanjaro.

Originally from Cornwall, I came to Gibraltar as my father was posted in the Royal Navy during my time at University. I have lived in Gibraltar for over 20 years, after embarking on the graduate scheme for RBSI. I worked for NatWest International and the Royal Bank of Scotland, working primarily in Corporate finance, facilitating key, high profile construction projects in Gibraltar. I then became a Senior Relationship manager for the local and international private market.

"I joined TNB in October 2022 to take on the role as Business Developer at a pivotal and exciting time for the bank. I relish the challenge to assist in creating the Bank of Choice for Gibraltar."

I work within the Private banking department but my role touches many departments, requiring collaboration and communication internally and externally. I am presently involved in developing the referral system, collaborating with customer segmentation and supporting the team in this time of change.

I then followed in my passion for wine and became a sommelier and wine author, gaining over ten years of experience in the fine wine trade. I holds Distinctions in WSET 1-3 and studied for the WSET Diploma in Wines and Spirits. I founded Gibraltar Vault in 2017, growing the company and brands to include the Hollow Rock Experience and Gibraltar Distillery Company alongside the fine wine storage facility within the Rock of Gibraltar. During CoVID, I also established the Gibraltar Tea Company.

Combining my financial management, customer experience focus and business development, I joined TNB in October 2022 to take on the role as Business Developer

I hold a Diploma in Banking and Corporate Governance, a BSc Hons in Genetics, and became a Certified Financial Adviser (Level 3) and Certified Mortgage Advisor. Locally I am a member of the Gibraltar Tourism and Hospitality Board, the Chamber of Commerce and the Gibraltar Federation of Small Businesses.

Outside of banking I love spending time with my family- my partner and my crazy daughters who make me laugh every day. I feel blessed to be their mother and watch them grow and achieve their dreams. I also have a love for british bulldogs!

My passions are wine and mountaineering-my previous achievements having climbed Mount Kilimanjaro and most recently summiting Mont Blanc. Time is precious, and I work hard and with many hours but I am trying to balance my life better. However, I am ever increasingly conscious that the next mountain is calling…

"Every day I am excited to work with the TNB team, to strive together to achieve our goal of creating the Bank of Choice for Gibraltar. This is an exciting time for the bank, and sector. Many challenges are being faced with the changing environment. By adopting a flexible project approach, being transparent and value based in parallel with the Banks overall strategy and objectives, I believe whole heartedly that the outcome will be positive. Resilience and adaptability are at the core of the local finance sector, and are the essence of TNB."
