US Dollar Payment Service Disruption

17 May 2022

If you have attempted to send or receive US Dollar (USD) payments to or from your account with Trusted Novus Bank (TNB), you will have noticed at present there are restrictions to this service. This is due to issues with our USD correspondent bank that were beyond our control.

We have been working hard to reinstate this service and can inform you that we have identified a solution which we are currently testing.

Over the next few weeks, we will be contacting you with more information.

Please be reassured that we are working to restore the service at the earliest opportunity, which at present is expected to be available to all clients by the end of June.

We would like to remind you that internal USD transfers to other accounts in TNB, either to another USD account in your name or that of another TNB client, is fully operational as normal.

Additionally, the following USD denominated transactions are unaffected:

  • Foreign Exchange (FX) conversions
  • Security purchases and sales
  • Securities inwards and outgoing transfers
  • USD denominated debit and credit cards
  • Cash deposits and withdrawals

We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience and continued support.

If you have any questions or need assistance, please do not hesitate to contact your Relationship Manager.

Yours sincerely

Trusted Novus Bank
