Fraud or Misuse of your Visa Card

Suspicious transactions, calls, emails or text messages


If you believe a call, email, or text message is suspicious call us immediately.

The bank will never ask you to provide your PIN, One Time Passcode (OTP) or your online banking login password. Never allow remote access to any device or download software to allow access. Be on the lookout for emails or text messages requesting you log in to your online banking to update your personal details and emails with of an urgent nature. Trusted Novus Bank Limited reserves the right to block and/or cancel your Visa card(s) without prior notice, in the event of one or several of the below scenarios:

Suspicion of Visa card used by another person other than the named cardholder.

Suspicion of a cloned card or a sudden change in spending pattern, velocity, or irregular transaction(s) detected by our fraud filters.

Upon notification by Trusted Novus Bank from our partner Visa Inc. of a possible or confirmed Network intrusion at an E-Commerce Merchant, the card is at risk of fraud and will be replaced with new Card number and PIN to prevent any possible misuse.

Suspicion that the Bank’s services are being used for criminal activities.

Missing or irregular data with respect to cardholder’s account or personal information or non-compliance for requests for update of such information.
