Responsibilities:
- Chair the TNB Investment Committee, leading centralised decision-making on advisory asset allocations and thematic recommendations.
- Define and communicate the bank’s “house view” in collaboration with the investment committee.
- Research and recommend appropriate investment products to align with strategic asset allocations.
- Develop and maintain centralised communication on TNB’s discretionary and advisory investment offerings, including market updates, model portfolio reviews, and investment recommendations.
- Monitor and maintain advisory portfolios to ensure they adhere to risk/return frameworks.
- Oversee discretionary portfolios to ensure they remain fit for purpose and aligned with client needs.
- Provide in-depth advisory investment guidance to high-value clients and Relationship Managers (RMs).
- Drive business development through networking, events, and PR initiatives.
- Act as an ambassador and spokesperson for the bank’s investment expertise.
- Serve as the primary liaison for external providers supporting TNB’s investment proposition.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and bank policies.
Requirements:
- Minimum Level 4 investment advice qualification.
- Extensive technical investment knowledge, including strategic and tactical asset allocation and fund selection.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. High levels of organisation and discipline.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
